(don't know why I'm posting a picture of something negative, but I guess it's so I can look back and say, "so that's what a rejection letter looks like." Or waitlisted. Whatever.)
1. Got waitlisted at the University of Chicago. At first I read it as completely rejected, so I guess it's better than that! Still a little disappointed but trying to maintain hope for the rest of the private colleges.
2. Received an email an hour later from Vassar and panicked. It was telling me it would come out next Friday.
3. Pouring. A lot.
4. My neck hurts. I jumped on the bed yesterday to get Cody to jump up, too, and I landed on my neck...hard to explain.
5. Wanting to paint a peacock. The idea has been in my head for a few weeks, but I need to buy white paint first.
